We Are All Connected by Water

Did you know….the world is covered by 71% water? The human body is composed of almost 60% water? Without water we cannot charge our phones? Water impacts everything we do on a daily basis and it is our mission to create funds and awareness for all water issues.  We support
water projects that include ‘Safe Water’ ‘Watershed Improvement’ and ‘Water Is Medicine’.

Wristsponsible Water Projects

Safe Water

1 in 9 people lack access to safe water across the world. Consuming dirty water cripples a community’s ability to develop out of poverty, cascading into numerous health and economic problem. Wristsponsible implements sustainable water treatment systems that produce high volumes of safe water. This water can be used for cooking, cleaning and sold to enable a social enterprise.

Watershed Improvement

With 7.3 billion people in the world and 9.0 billon expected by 2050, the world resources are strained. The water sheds that bring life into our society are being deteriorated at an alarming rate due to deforestation, pollution and overuse. Wristsponsible implements water restoration projects that restore water embankments, plant animal habits and educate communities on how to maintain a healthy watershed.

Watershed improvement projects include: beach clean ups, storm water run-off systems, permaculture food farms, natural habitat restoration and more.

Water is Medicine

We live in a very fast paced world full of “Red Mind” which is characterized by stress, anxiety, fear, and maybe even a little bit of anger and despair. Fortunately, we live on a water full of water that can allow humans to spend more time in our “Blue Mind”, which examines how humans are happier, healthier and more productive when they are on, in, near and around the water. #BlueMind ‘Water is Medicine’ projects offer meaningful activities of recovery for people suffering from anxiety, stress, PTSD, cancer, or disability.

Water is medicine projects include: surfing therapy, kayak therapy, fishing therapy, scuba diving therapy.
